Saint Katherine's is an Orthodox parish of the Russian Orthodox
Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), but Saint Katherine's is not a
typical Orthodox parish in that we are Western Rite. Western Rite
Orthodoxy or Western Orthodoxy are terms used to describe Churches
which are in full communion with Eastern Orthodoxy but are using
traditional Western liturgies rather than adopting Eastern liturgies
such as the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.
