Taken after the ordination of Father Anthony Deacon David assisted Father Anthony during the Divine Liturgy. Deacon David is based out of Saint Ambrose of Milan Orthodox Church in New York. During the Divine Liturgy, everyone exchanges what is called the "Kiss of Peace", which is a brotherly embrace along with three kisses on the cheek (starting on the right, then left, and right again). One person, usually the senior one, begins by saying "Christ is in our midst". The response is "He is and ever shall be". From left to right in the front row is Mother Mariana (Fr.
