MANY CHRISTIANS TODAY LONG TO BECOME
REACQUAINTED WITH THEIR ANCIENT ANCESTORS IN THE FAITH.
Orthodoxy is an evangelical, catholic (universal), and
pre-denominational Christian faith practiced by millions of
believers sharing a common confession and creed.
Our mission church is a beautifully small piece of that same
Orthodox Christian Faith in terms of our numbers. We are
currently searching for a small, inexpensive or free,
space for a
chapel in a zoning area where people are allowed to worship in a
physical space. In the meantime, we continue to be very active in the Home Schooling communities
in Lexington County and throughout South Carolina in addition to
offering missionary services (blessing of homes/businesses, visiting
and praying for the sick, etc.).
Most Orthodox Christians follow the Eastern
traditions familiar to immigrants from countries such as
Russia, Greece, Antioch, and Africa. However, we follow Western traditions more familiar to Americans and
Europeans such as those found in pre-Vatican II
Roman Catholic, Anglican and Episcopalian traditions.
